How often do you set goals for yourself?
Is it daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or longer? I try and do all of the above to stay on top of things from laundry to editing and schoolwork.
So, for the Month of November, there are a few things that I want to put on the board to knock out before December comes and smacks me in the face.
1. Create and order Christmas Cards.
Start Christmas Shopping: This one is a biggie for me. I feel like Christmas 2018 was the most stressful season EVAAA and I didn’t fully enjoy it because it was just so much going on. We moved from NC to AL less than 15 days before Christmas and I was thrown COMPLETELY off my game.
2. Edit and deliver wedding gallery
I want my bride to have her gallery and the opportunity to order prints before Christmas, so this is important.
3. Complete Wedding Album Design for my bride.
Although this one goes hand in hand with goal two creating an album is a lot of work, and deserves its own line.
4. Complete at least two photography-related business web courses
It's important to always continue learning and growing in photography and business. I know I don’t know everything and there is so much to learn to prioritize education is only going to make me better.
5. Write and schedule all of My December blogs
Some days I can crank out 2-3 blog posts and other days I’m stuck even when I know my topic so, with the bustle of the season, I'm not going to leave this part of my process high and dry.
